Project Description
This project was a custom urn for my wife’s uncle that passed away. I used Red Cedar that my grandfather had cut down almost 50 years ago and saved. we also made my grandfathers casket out of the same tree so the connection is really cool. Along with using the Red Cedar for the lid and box I also added leather for certain parts such as feet pads for the box, a lid liner and most importantly the initials and years of my uncle-in-law. I also added metal eliminates aswell creating decorative corner bumper and a Friedrichs cross I made.
