Project Description
Built a new baby dresser/changing table for my son and daughter in-laws first child, my first grandchild. I was given a rough design parameter by the parents to be then designed the dresser per those requirements. My son and I cut down the trees (sycamore and beech) from his seven-acre lot and milled the logs with my LX55 mill that I mounted to an old trailer I had. The only purchased wood was the drawer bottoms and the back of the dresser, the frame, legs, top, drawer boxes, and drawer fronts were made from the milled wood after letting it dry for two years. The drawer boxes were made using dovetail joints by a Porter Cable jig and a Skill router.
