Cedar Island table

Theresa Hillier

LT35

Project Description
Sean cut a couple of cedar logs for my daughters counter and I ended up with the left overs! So we needed an island table and I wanted it to have live edge with alot of character. This lumber fit the bill. We used the same wood for the legs cutting a log in half on the mill. The extra cuts we used underside to stable it up. I routered it all so it would fit snug and sturdy. We wanted it to have the rustic look and this has it all. I love the indentations on the live edges where the limbs were. We used an epoxy for the coating because we new it would get alot of wear and tear!
