Project Description
My friend wanted a bar top(s) She understood that I had just got the saw mill about 3 weeks ago and the slab could crack. She liked the idea of some character from the cracking. So I cut her some slab for a bar/ counter top. I was VERY impressed with the sweetgum tree and how awesome the color and grain came out.

Finished Dimensions
The pieces where approx. 17 on one end and 21 the other. Slabs where 2 inches thick. It was two slabs at about 10ft long to make the total of 18ft

Money Saved
Thousand... well it felt like it. Estimate time around 15 minutes per slab. I dont think I could of done dimensional lumber with my chainsaw setup. So saving producing the lumber around $4000
