Project Description
This cabin was built "from the ground up" as I started by on-site logging of dead standing lodgepole pine trees for the timber frame members and the T&G ceiling. Logging, site prep, and frame milling and fabrication encompassed the first year. The second year involved cabin-raising, installation of the roof and SIPs. The third year consisted of interior work including building of room walls, installing wainscoting and flooring, finishing out the loft, and milling and installing the cedar lap siding.
